One brief experience can change our lives in a big way. I have experienced such moments that changed my life. In 2007, a monumental moment happened when I attended a 3-day a digital storytelling workshop.
Three months later I collaborated with a Mount Holyoke College faculty to produce a video that would reflect innovation and changes at MHC. In 2015, I accepted an opportunity and funding to produce a 60-minute documentary that retraced 79 years of architectural and administrative footprints at the college. Thus began the start of my new career; I love that I get to help people tell their stories in film and print. For the past the nine years I have edited videos for the Wilmot Historical Society, I have produced video memoirs for others, and I teach memoir writing at Springfield Museums (in Massachusetts). Add used to do web development, however, this is not part of my current creative work.
